Blue Corn Brewery opened in 1997 as one of New Mexico’s first breweries. We are a restaurant and brewery making small-batch beers rooted in tradition, but decidedly innovative. Our menu of New Mexican specialties and contemporary comfort food is made from scratch daily. We’re inspired by the rich culture of New Mexico along with our fellow local craftsmen and growers. Chef Joshua Ortiz
Chef Joshua Ortiz was born and raised in Santa Fe and has a strong connection with New Mexico’s local culture. Now at the helm of Blue Corn Brewery, he has spent his career as a chef honing his skills with many fine dining institutions. He started under the leadership of Kelly Rogers at La Casa Sena, and from that moment he knew that he wanted to be in the kitchen. Chef Ortiz likes to keep food simple and create dishes that are unforgettable. He strives to bring locals and visitors to the table to enjoy thoughtfully sourced ingredients, local products and food to remember.
